Flashing back – the revival of the flash

It's not just fashion and music from the 1990s that are currently back in fashion - photography with flash has also made a comeback. In contrast to milky looks, muted colors, and a generally filter-dominated Instagram view of the world, flash is now, after years, bringing garish reality back to the table.
