More and more freelancers and solo self-employed offer their workforce on online platforms or apps (such as Deliveroo, Myhammer or Twago) for temporary assignments or side jobs. They work as food delivery or driving services, translators, copywriters, couriers, graphic designers and programmers, or they offer repair, craft or cleaning services. The gig workers can freely divide their time and decide for themselves which jobs they are willing to accept.
