The most beautiful hiking trails in Germany

Hiking is in. It was not least during the Corona crisis that many people discovered hiking for themselves and, in the face of various travel warnings, unceremoniously moved their summer holidays to the beautiful natural landscapes right on their doorstep.

Our photographer Natalie Thill is herself a passionate hiker and knows some of the most beautiful hiking trails in Germany. In her current pictures she presents two tours that have particularly impressed her.

The Belchensteig

This Black Forest premium hiking trail is a real gourmet's path and is perfectly suited as a half-day or day tour. Over a distance of 14.7 kilometres, the Belchensteig impresses with spectacular views. The views range from the Swiss Alps to the Vosges and the Rhine plain. The 1414-metre high Belchen is considered the most beautiful viewing mountain in the Black Forest.

The Baden-Baden Panorama Trail

In four stages, this beautiful panoramic trail leads around Baden-Baden in a total of 45.4 kilometres. A great multi-day tour - but the stages can also be hiked individually without any problems.
