Julian Birbrajer developed an interest in art already early in his life. At the age of ten he copied paintings by van Gogh, Renoir, Monet and others. Later he had the opportunity to watch a professional photographer take macro images of flowers, which opened up a new world to him. Photography is his passion. He gets frequently inspired by unusual places, such as flea markets and cemeteries, both locations far removed from general thinking. This is where many of his motifs have their origin.
