Gerhard Tegeler started years ago as a passionate hobby photographer using analogue equipment. Due to his growing slide archive however, he temporarily gave up his hobby. With the first digital SLR camera he rediscovered his joy in photography. Today, Gerhard Tegeler focuses on photographing nature, landscape, plants, animals and interesting architecture – often when travelling, but also in the immediate vicinity and in the domestic garden. He attaches great importance to beautiful light moods, produced by long-term exposure. His perspectives vary from the totality to the smaller and smallest. In macro photography, he is particularly fascinated by the new look at shapes, structures and colors.
