After a happy childhood in the region of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, Felix Strohbach studied journalism in Eichstätt, Germany. Tired of church bells and small town life, he fled for a semester abroad in the East African State of Uganda - a valuable experience that has inspired him strongly. After a long stay in Barcelona, he is currently working in an agency for graphics and film in Münster, Germany. With his photos, Strohbach wants to convey moods of places he has visited. Thus, he is looking for small details, striking buildings and interesting people. It is important to him that the photos look authentic and that he does not intervene in the action with his camera. In order to keep the focus on the subject, he uses colours cautiously. Instead, he likes to experiment with black and white and unusual perspectives. Following his interest in photo design and visual storytelling, Felix Strohbach will soon begin a design master's program.
