The trained hotel specialist Nadja Jacke was born and grew up in the Plattenbau of the former GDR. Today she lives in Bielefeld, East Westphalia. The love for photography has always been there, from 2005 even as an integral part of her life. The autodidact regularly documented everyday life situations with her camera. In 2014, she eventually dared to take a leap into self-employment as a photographer. One of Nadia's strengths is nature photography, especially the flora and fauna of the forest. Her inspiration is to show the beauty and uniqueness of nature and wildlife in exciting and sensitive pictures, while telling little stories at the same time. In doing so, she tries to give special attention to the small details in nature, which tend to be less recognised in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In 2017, Nadja has now started her heart project "Wild East Westphalia", where she wanders through the Teutoburg Forest with her camera, looking for new impressions and remarkable details in the Flora and Fauna of the forest.
