Petra Daisenberger was born in North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany, but has been living in Murnau, near Munich for many years. Her images and photographic reports are being created during her travels or in her own photo studio. Petra uses her camera to make the images in her head visible to others. For an optimal perspective and an original angle of view, she will even lay down on the ground in the hen house. She puts her motifs skilfully into scene and perfects them in the digital post-production process. Reduction to the essence and the colour white are two of her preferred design features. The world that Petra shows is supposed to be "beautiful: beautifully bright, beautifully angular, beautifully funny, beautifully soft, beautifully genuine, really beautiful."
