Marco Simoni is a native of Genoa, Italy. Studying photography at the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara (California), Marco specialised in travel and nature photography. Currently based in Italy, working as a freelance and stock photographer he travels widely including Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Greece, Nepal, Thailand, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica and the Falklands Islands. Marco’s passion for photography and keen artistic sense allow him to capture the grace of architecture, the character of people and the wonders of the natural world. In his work he looks for beauty through the colours of our planet. Marco’s images have been published in travel guides like “Lonely Planet“ and “Rough Guides“, often featured on the cover, and many international magazines including "The Sunday Times Travel Magazine", "GEO España", "GEO Special", "Bell' Europa", "In Viaggio", "Altair", "Viajes National Geographic" and "El Mundo Viajes" as well as in newspapers like "The Sunday Times", "The Independent" and "The Daily Telegraph".
